Flag Day

A new flag is raised on the wooden flag pole that was relocated from the Town Common.

Annual Dinner
6:30 p.m.
An annual meeting for Garrison House members.

July 9 & 10

Summer History Program
10:30 to 2:00 p.m.
A hands-on program where students ages 9 to 13 learn two colonial crafts each day.

House Tours
2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Tours of the 1716 Garrison and c. 1830 barn. See how people lived in colonial times and the collection of farm tools.

August 16

September 20

Crafters Sale
12:30 to 4:00 p.m.
The Garrison House will host a market for local crafters to sell their hand crafted goods. Past items have included stained glass, quilted items, soaps, and wooden crafts. This event is a great occasion to find that special gift!

October 4

Colonial Craft Day
1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Our most popular event of the year. Join us for demonstrations of colonial crafts including blacksmithing, cider pressing, chair caning, soap making, candle dipping, butter churning, hearth cooking, colonial music, the Chelmsford Minutemen, and more. It’s an event for the whole family!
Admission is free.

November 8

Sally’s Closet
2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
This will be a lecture on a historical topic—to be determined.
